Playland Equestrian Center, LLC is located in the beautiful countryside of Frederick County. The 160+ acre farm is the perfect horse-haven for both horse and rider. With its large indoor arena, 2 outdoor arenas (one jumping and one warm-up), round pen, 40+ acres of turnout, a cross-country schooling course, and lots of hay fields and woodlands to hack around and trail ride in, you and your horse will have ample opportunities to accomplish your goals.
Our head trainer, Glenda Player, has a long list of experience training with some of the best-of-the-best in the equestrian world, including courses with the world-renowned equine biomechanics expert Hillary Clayton, as well as a 500-hour training course at the Mind Body Studies Academy. Her unique C.O.R.E rider method was developed through her collective education, helping riders create a picture of balance and harmony through movement while advancing their horse's training. We proudly offer boarding, lessons, training, and breeding, alongside an active on-site clinic and show schedule.
