CONSISTENT ENTRY INFORMATION
Rider Responsibility
It is the rider's responsibility to submit consistent entry information and to ensure the information is recorded correctly on show results. FADS is not responsible for inconsistent/incorrect entry information not reported by the rider.
Why is consistent entry information important? End of season awards are based on rider name, horse name, level, rider status, and percentage. If a rider's name and/or horse name is/are submitted or recorded inconsistently or incorrectly, the scores will not be grouped together when end of season scores are calculated. This means the horse/rider pair may not qualify for an award and/or all scores will not be included.
RIDER NAME INCONSISTENCIES: The rider needs to use the same name on all entries. If Elizabeth Smith submits Elizabeth Smith on one entry and Libby Smith on another entry, FADS will treat the rider as two separate people. Similarly, if a rider's name is has a double last name, the rider needs to report the last name consistently - If Mary Jones Smith submits first name Mary Jones and last name Smith in one entry and first name Mary and last name Jones Smith in another entry, FADS will treat the rider as two separate people.
HORSE NAME INCONSISTENCIES: The same horse name needs to be used on all entries (it also needs to be on the Coggins). If Big Brown Beauty is entered as Big Brown Beauty on one entry and as Bear on another entry, FADS will treat this as two different horses.
RIDER STATUS: Ensure the correct rider status is listed. Click here for information on rider status.
PERCENTAGE: Ensure the correct percentage is listed.
If any of this information is listed incorrectly on the FADS web page, contact the show secretary with the correction. The secretary will then update the FADS webmaster.
