BROW BANDS FOR CHARITIES

I like bling! I have never found a brow band that has the right colors and enough bling. So, I decided to make one. It was so much fun, I made another one. Then I made another, and another. I gave some to friends, who mostly liked them. I am now making very blingy, a little blingy, subdued (colors but no bling), and whimsical brow bands. I am offering them to equestrians as another way to donate to the same charities as my FADS shows - the cost covers materials ($ goes to me) and a donation ($ goes to one of four charities that you designate).
Some of the brow bands are ready-made; others can be custom ordered with your show color(s) and/or your favorite color(s).
The photos below show brow bands I have made, some of which may have been sold. I can make duplicates of most of the brow bands, but not all of them.
Since the beta biothane brow bands have snaps, it is easy to exchange brow bands on the bridle - all the more reason to get multiple brow bands!
Do you have a drill team, Pas de Deux, Quadrille or club with color themes? Get brow bands to match your theme.

HOW "BROW BANDS FOR CHARITIES" WORKS
COST: The cost of each brow band is the materials costs plus a minimum $30 donation. For example:
Add $5.50 if brow band will be mailed.
NOTE: I am phasing out the leather brow bands. I have a few still in stock.
BROW BAND MATERIALS:
- Beta Biothane: Materials $15 + $30 minimum donation = $45 minimum.
- Commercial Leather: Materials $35 + $30 minimum donation = $65 minimum.

BROW BAND MATERIALS:
- Beta biothane with leather or beta biothane side strips. 1" wide, black, chestnut, brown, and royal blue straight beta biothane, as in the diagram below. Side strip colors as in the diagram below. All have snaps.
- Beta biothane with patent beta biothane center. 1" wide, black, brown, chestnut and royal blue straight. All have snaps. Only for 10mm round acrylic beads.
- All leather brow band: 1" wide. I have a few black, straight and U-shape, of various sizes, in stock. I am phasing out leather brow bands - I have a few still in stock.

BEAD MATERIALS AND COLORS:
- Beads are made of various materials. Some are delicate and others are less delicate, which will be noted with each stone type.
- I stock many colors; other colors may be available for custom orders.
SNAPS:
- All biothane brow bands have snaps.
- Snap colors are black color, brass color, and silver color.
METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION: Beta biothane brow bands consist of 1" beta biothane with sewn on strips on each side and snap at each end to form bridle loop. All beads are strung using strong beading wire then hand sewn onto the brow band material using monofilament beading cord.

CUSTOM ONE-OF-A-KIND BROW BANDS

This is an example of a truly customized brow band. The rider provided the large silver-colored beads and an initial design. After some mock-ups, a final design was determined and a custom 18" brow band was created for her draft cross mare.

This is another example of a truly customized brow band. I made it as a gift for a rider who had just achieved her commercial pilot's license. Custom ordered bling planes with opaque faceted black beads and clear bling spacers. It looked nice on her black horse!
