ENTRY CHANGES
A dressage schooling show entry includes three major elements:
1. Rider
2. Horse
3. Tests
Sometimes, after the entry is submitted, one or more of these major elements might need to change:
1. Change the rider
2. Change the horse
3. Change the test(s) (delete a test, add a test, ride different tests)
For a show that is still open: Contact the show secretary via email and request the change. DO NOT submit a new entry as this will confuse the show secretary. The change is usually easy for the show secretary because the show has not yet been scheduled (ride times have not yet been assigned).
For a show that has closed: Contact the show secretary via email and request the change. The secretary will inform you if the change can be accomplished, based on these criteria:
1. If the show has not yet been scheduled: Usually the rider, horse and/or test(s) can be changed.
2. If the show has been scheduled: Usually the rider and horse can be changed; however, the tests may be difficult to change as different tests have different durations (time allotted for the test).
For all entry changes, contact the show secretary before the show. If an entry change must occur on show day, discuss with the show secretary when you check in at the show. DO NOT just perform the scheduled tests with a different rider and/or a different horse without notifying the show secretary.
