LOCATION: Blue Horse Farm, 2027 Gapland Road, Jefferson, MD 21755 (click here for information and directions)
AUDITORS: All auditors must be PVDA members. Catoctin Chapter members may audit for free. Non-members may audit for $25.
RIDERS: All riders must be PVDA members. Members of the Catoctin Chapter will have first priority. Rides may be a lesson or a fix-a-test. Ride fee: $95.
RIDER OBLIGATION TO PAY: If a rider signs up for the clinic, the rider is obligated to pay the fee(s) on the day of the clinic. If the rider must scratch, they may find a substitute rider (must be a PVDA member) or just pay the fee. Notify Leslie at [email protected] if the rider/horse changes.
FOOD: Coffee and breakfast snacks and lunch will be provided. The food is free for Catoctin Chapter members and $15 for non-members.
STALLS: A limited number of dry stalls are available; Catoctin Chapter members will have first priority. Bring your own bedding, water buckets, and hay. Strip the stall completely clean before you depart. Stalls are free for Catoctin Chapter members and $30 for non-members.
COGGINS FORM: For riders, a current Coggins form must be provided before your horse is taken off the trailer.
HOLD HARMLESS FORM: For all, a hold harmless form must be provided. Click here for the form.
TRAILER PARKING: Trailer parking is to the left of the driveway, in my hay field. Park in front of the barn to unload/load stuff and horse, then move trailer in the hay field.
AUTO/TRUCK PARKING: Auto/truck parking is to the right of the driveway.
MANURE: If your horse manures anywhere on the property, please take it home with you.
